Finally a Full Belly

Dear Precious Lamb,


Your daddy and I still can't believe that God has blessed us with you! What an amazing Blessing you are to us, and we thank Him for you multiple times a day. Daddy thinks it's funny that I rub my belly already, but I just want to make sure you are feeling cozy and comfortable in there.

Well Thanksgiving was two days ago and we told our family including: your Nonnie (mommy's mom), GoGo (your mommy's brother), G-Pops (Daddy's dad),  Daddy's mom (she hasn't picked out her name yet), Papa Gene (mommy's dad), Patty (Papa Gene's wife who hasn't picked her name out either), Uncle Matt (daddy's brother), Grandma Mary (mommy's grandma), Grandpa Duane (Mommy's grandpa), and Aunt Angie (mommy's Aunt).  Everyone was soo excited! We got all of their actions on video tape, your sweet daddy's idea, and we have both already watched it! We didn't know how we were going to tell them and finally came up with this:

They were put in their envelopes and we passed them out as soon as everyone was together.  I am so happy that we did it this way and was so happy to see everyone's faces as they found out about you!

Since getting a prescription for medicine so I won't throw up as much I have been feeling much better. I have been having to eat every couple of hours to keep you happy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Today, has been a good day. I ate two bowls of frosted flakes, you seem to like the cold milk, and almost a whole jar of small pickles! I have always loved pickles, and it looks like you will too!

I had not taken any of my prescription today because I was feeling pretty good. Your CoCo (mommy's sister) came over before she had to go to work and hung out with me and I started feeling yucky. I realized that I was starving but nothing we had sounded good to you so your mommy started thinking of places near by that you might like and decided on a steak finger basked from DQ. I ate the whole thing before getting back into our driveway! You seem to love it, because as I sit on the couch writing this memory to you I am full and not nauseous!

I love you my precious lamb and am praying for your health everyday, We are excited to meet you in July!

Morning, Noon, and Night

That's the new name I have given to "morning" sickness. For the past week and a half, starting the very first day of week 6, I have been nauseous from the time I wake up till the time I go to bed, and at this point I would have been very grateful if it stayed that way because a few days after being continuously nauseous the vomiting started. And not just once or twice a day, average has been 10-14 times!! Yes, you read correctly, 10-14!! I feel like my esophagus is eroding away. It has been awful :(

But fortunately I have the WORLD'S BEST husband who has waited on me hand and foot. He has been absolutely amazing, word's can not express how much I love him. God is awesome! He has cooked, and cleaned (even the bathrooms!!), catered to me whenever I feel like something might taste good, which in the end never does, rubs my back, my feet, my head. Really he just does anything and everything to help me feel better! I must be am definitely the luckiest girl in the world.

For all of those who know you know that I am the worst hypochondriac in existence. Which has not been helped my being pregnant or reading "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" and "What to Expect when You are Expecting". CJ and I have been reading these books, and every time we come across something that "may harm" or isn't recommended I feel like I have done. For instance,
1. Paint my finger nails
2. Used a permanent marker
3. Used kitchen cleaner to clean the cabinet
4. Drank a flavored water with sucralose
5. Took a warm bath that turned my skin pink, not red, but pink

After I do each one of these things I think, "Oh no, I wasn't supposed to do that!! " "Did I hurt the baby?" my mind just races and I start texting my friends who have had babies and get all in a panic.
Well after one of my panicked texts my dear sweet friend Missy came over. She was as sweet and loving as anyone could be and just told me plain and simply, "stop letting the Devil take away the Joy that God has given you, He wants to take this miraculous joyful time and make it just the opposite. God loves your baby more than you do and He will protect me and the baby." Wow, what an amazing insight to be given. She is absolutely correct!!

And so from there was born my new attitude. Do what I know to be right, stay healthy, and fully rely on God to give us a healthy baby. How glorious to know that He loves my baby more than we do!

Surprise!

Well the day the Rangers lost the World Series was a sad day for most Texas households, but for this household we will forever know that day as the day we found out we are expecting! Yes, that is correct you read that right, we are pregnant! We are so thankful to our God for blessing us with a child. I feel fine as of now, just a little more tired than usual but nothing big. Keep reading here to follow us on our journey through pregnancy and becoming 1st time parents! We ask for your prayers for a healthy momma and baby!

Happy Birthday to me!

This is a belated post but I wanted to share what a sweet husband I have. He gave me a surprise party for my 25th birthday! He invited our families and some of our sweet friends. We had a blast and CJ never stops surprising me and showing me his love for me. Here are a few pictures from the day!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families. I hope that you all stopped and gave thanks to God for all the blessings in your lives. I am thankful for what He has given me.

Date Day

Well a couple of weeks ago I decided to take CJ for a date day. He always does sweet things for me, have I said he is the Best husband EVER?!? So for our date day I took him to eat at a new Chinese Buffet in town, I thought it was not the best, but CJ enjoyed it so that was good for me!

Then after lunch we went to, drum roll please, Adventure Landing! It was so much fun! It is like a Celebration Station place, with go-carts, putt-putt, laser tag, arcade games, and all sorts of fun stuff! Besides an adult man's birthday party, or that's what it looked like, we were the only ones in the place. We started off playing a few arcade games, which CJ smoked me. They had one of that was like Deal or No Deal and well let's say we didn't win the big bucks :)

Next we enjoyed a game of laser tag, just Mrs. against Mr., and had a blast! CJ totally kicked my booty, it ended up being 75 (me), 1015 (him). Yea I don't understand how that happened since I am the one who kept shooting him?!? But it was so much fun running around in the dark, and since I am a little smaller than he is it was easier for me to run and sneak up on him. hehehe it was awesome!

We then enjoyed two rounds of putt-putt. Now, normally I am the winner when we play this fun little game but this time was a different story. I did however make a hole in one and we tied the second game, I think. It was a little breezy outside so I was glad that I had worn a long sleeve shirt.

We had a great day and I was so happy that I could finally do something special for him. He is awesome!
