Praise the Lord!

Thanks be to God! Missy had her biopsy on Monday and the official report is BENIGN!! All of the spots in her liver are non-cancerous hemangiomas! That is the best news she could have possibly gotten! One is the size of a baseball and one is the size of a golf ball! Isn't that crazy! She has 5 spots total and goes next week to the best liver specialist in Dallas to see what they are going to do about them. God is great isn't he!


Also last Friday we had our first OB appointment! Everything went great! We had a sono and got to see our gummy bear and everything looks great and we are right on track! We were exactly 9 weeks on Friday and that is what we measured! I will post pictures as soon as I get unlazy and upload them. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday and this appointment is where we will do all of the blood work and stuff, eek!

I am coming before you asking for you lift up my friend, Missy Collins, to the Lord. Missy is an amazing woman who I have known since I was in the 6th grade. Her husbands parents were my Sunday school teachers when I was in the 4th grade, and then Missy and Chris were active helpers in my youth group. She was also one of my Bible study teachers from the 7th grade, all the way to my senior year. She has an amazing heart for the Lord, and serves His kingdom every day. Chris and Missy also are the ones who brought CJ and I to the Heartland. They actually live one street over from us, and we all attend Vista together. Missy has been there for me through the darkest of days, and now unfortunately I am coming to you during her darkest days.

Missy is only 35 years old, the mother of a 4 year old and 7 year old, the wife of 14 years to Chris, and probably the 2nd healthiest person I know besides Shari Jo. Missy has had some tummy problems for a while and went to go get a sono for her gallbladder, thinking it needed to be taken out. Tuesday was her appointment and her gallbladder looked fine, but they found 5-6 spots on her liver. Theses spots should NEVER be there, for any reason.

After a full body CT on Wednesday we learned that there was no sign of any more spots anywhere in the body, except the liver. That was our first Praise! God is amazing and gave her what I believe in super natural healing. She also had blood work that day and results came back NOT pancreatic or colon cancer. PRAISE THE LORD, AGAIN! Are you amazed yet? We shouldn't be, God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. All through the new testament there are stories of Jesus healing one person after another, and just because He isn't in physical form walking here on this Earth, He is still here performing miracles everyday!

Missy has a biopsy scheduled for Monday morning in Dallas, and we are praying that these "spots" are benign and don't mean a thing. Our God is a BIG God, and we know that when these spots come back as such that we can not attribute it to ANYTHING but Him.

So please pray that..

1. Our God performs the miracle of supernatural healing in Missy so we can glorify and share her story with others.


2. Peace for her sweet husband Chris, who is unfortunately needing to be the strong steady physical foundation here right now. 


3. That their sweet boys, Reece and Charlie, will be spared from the weight of knowing what is happening.


Thank you friends and I know that God has a plan for all of this, He wants to be glorified and He has already made Himself present during this icky time.
